Elaboration:
This wine is made using modern, interpretive winemaking techniques to reveal the unique characteristics of this particular grape. To begin with, the grapes undergo a cold maceration process ( 4°C )for 4 days and then malolactic fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged for 9 months in American and French oak barrels.

Taste:
A fruit forward wine with dark berry flavours, minerals and white pepper spices. On the palate, attractive complexities are prominent and well balanced with pleasant tannins and a smooth long finish.

This is a wine that benefits from being let to breathe so decanting is recommended.
